Masahiro Rokugo, MD/PhD joined the Uppaluri lab in 2022 coming to us from the Department of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery,
Tohoku University School of Medicine, Sendai, Japan. He completed his doctoral studies with Dr. Igarishi at Tohoku. He is an avid baseball fan! His work is focused on developing novel models of HNSCC understanding potential immunotherapy resistance pathways.
