Dr. Ann Marie Egloff is a Lead Investigator in the Department of Surgery, Brigham and Women’s Hospital and a Dana-Farber Cancer Institute affiliate investigator. Her research utilizes basic and translational research to define more effective precision and immuno-oncology strategies for head and neck cancer.
Originally from Michigan, she studied Cell and Molecular Biology at the University of Michigan, obtained her PhD in Biochemistry, Cell and Molecular Biology from the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. After completing a fellowship at the National Human Genome Research Institute, she was awarded a Cancer Education and Career Development fellowship and earned an MPH in Cancer Epidemiology from the University of Pittsburgh School of Public Health. Prior to joining the Uppaluri lab and the head and neck cancer translational research effort at the DFCI and BWH in 2018, she was faculty at the University of Pittsburgh, where as a member of the Head and Neck Cancer Specialized Program of Research Excellence her research focused on defining head and neck cancer precision medicine strategies, and at Boston University, where her primary focus was development of translational research programs.
